Inizia il tuo tour visitando il Museo Egizio che ha più di 250.000 pezzi che espongono una rara collezione di arte egizia di oltre 5.000 anni, così come la stanza di Tutankhamon che ha tesori, gioielli e oro che sono stati racchiusi nella sua tomba oltre 3500 anni prima che fosse scoperto in 1920 quando la sua tomba fu scavata.

Quindi, spostati per visitare la cittadella di Salah El Din che fu costruita da Salah El Din sulle colline di Moqattam nel 1183 d.C. per difendere il Cairo dagli eserciti dei crociati. Dopo quella visita la Moschea di Mohamed Ali Alabaster, progettata dall’architetto Yousif Boushnaq, un uomo turco venuto appositamente da Istanbul e che costruì questa grande moschea per Mohamed Ali, il sovrano dell’Egitto (1805-1849) che governò oltre 45 anni.
